Lowepro Pro Trekker 300 AW Hydration-Ready, Expedition Camera Backpack - Mica/Black

Awesome Backpack

By Photographyco from Denton, TX on 1/12/2011

4out of 5

Pros: Adjustable Harness, Strong Construction, Comfortable, Roomy

Cons: Zipper is a little tight, Laptop bag to small, Heavy

Best Uses: Long Hikes, Storing Gear, Transporting Gear, Protecting Gear

Describe Yourself: Semi-pro Photographer

Was this a gift?: No

I love the looks of this product. I am a super fan of Lowepro bags. I've had several and their customer service when I had issues with one of the was excellent. The bag is well made, zipper is kind of tight to open, but secure. The space to store your laptop is very tight and it is hard to get the 15" laptop in and out of the case.

This is for RC - HDR from Single Image Contest Versions 1

Hello RC, I went ahead and processed this Single image mainly using the tools Adobe Camera Raw then I did Hue and Saturation Adjustment layer and also some sharpening and some dodge and burn. I hope you like them. I did 3 version a full color, a Black and White (I think HDR in BW just looks awesome with the contrast) and then a B&W with Blue sky.

Here is Version 1

Here is a 2nd Version of the same photo this one is full color. I did not use textures on my version as you did on yours but I might post one later like that.

This is the 3rd Version a Black and White Version of the same image. I decided to practice as much as I could with the technique. I hope you like them.

I submitted 3 pictures to El Diario de Hoy, one of the 2 main newspapers in El Salvador. They got published last Friday, October 24, 2008. The pictures were for the friendly Soccer match between El Salvador and Bolivia at RFK Stadium in Washington DC last Wednesday October 22. El Salvador won the match 2-0. I submitted the pictures and small description of the event and it got posted on their homepage. It was a good feeling to see them on their main page. Hopefully there is more of this. I guess I should have read all the manual a long time ago, Very excited about it. Visit the Strobist website at www.strobist.blogspot.com.

If you want to learn cool lighting techniques I strongly recommend them.

New Good Eat in Fredericksburg, VA

Hello just wanted to share info about a good place to eat some good food in Fredericksburg, VA. The place is called Soup and Taco and it is located in the heart of downtown Fredericksburg on Caroline Street South of Lafayette. They sell a variety of Tacos (Shirmp, Beef, Chorizo and Chicken), and the Corn Tamales are Excellent. I didn't try the soup, but people next to me were raving about it. The place is under new management and it has been redone. It is very clean and the service is awesome. Check it out. Here are some pictures of the outside of the place.

Capital Columns at the National Arboretum

These used to be located at the US Capitol and transferred to the National Arboretum in Washington DC in the early 1980's.

This is not and HDR. I bumped the saturation and clarity in Camara RAW.

Hope you enjoy. This place if beautiful. It has nice trails. I am planing on going again. It was really hot last Sunday afternoon when I went. I am also going to check out the Kenilworth Water Gardents and Anacostia River Marsh.
